Zinzino HBA1C test
Test je podijeljen u dva glavna dijela. First, the actual measurement is performed using an easy at-home, laboratory-analyzed test for analyzing the long-term blood sugar level (HbA1c) found in capillary blood obtained from a fingertip using the Dried Blood Spot (DBS) technique. This technique has been shown to correlate with venous blood sampling when validated for HbA1c analysis. All it requires is a few drops of blood on a filter paper and it takes less than a minute to complete. The blood will then be analyzed by VITAS Analytical Services in Norway, an independent laboratory with extensive experience in chromatographic analysis. The Hemoglobin A1c test that we use to measure the long-term blood sugar level analyzes the amount of A1c, a form of hemoglobin with glucose attached. The higher the amount of blood glucose (blood sugar) on average, the more glucose attaches to hemoglobin. It is represented as a unit of measurement in mmol/mol (millimoles per mole) which has been the standard measurement for HbA1c since 2009. The result is then categorized in one of 4 different reporting ranges used in the report:

Način uporabe
Uzimanje testa
1. Zinzino Test je odobreni in vitro dijagnostički proizvod za prikupljanje osobnih uzoraka krvi kod kuće.
– Prvo operite ruke sapunom te ih dobro isperite toplom vodom i osušite.
2. Take out the sample card from the paper envelope.
Spremite omotnicu za kasniju upotrebu.
Tear off the SAVE part on the sample card and take a picture of the test ID. You can only see your test result with your anonymous test ID. Postavite karticu tako da su dva kruga okrenuta prema gore na stolu.
3. Stimulate blood flow by making big circles with your arm or shaking the hand downwards for 20 seconds.
4. Izvadite lancetu za jednokratnu uporabu. Skinite prozirni sigurnosni čep i lanceta je spremna za uporabu.
Upotrijebite alkoholnu vlažnu maramicu za čišćenje vrha prsta (preporučuje se srednji prst).
Place the lancet against the lower part of the fingertip facing the collection paper on the table. Gurnite vrh lancete prema prstu dok ne čujete klik. Lanceta će automatski napraviti mali ubod u prstu.

Leave the sample card in a horizontal position at room temperature for at least 10 minutes for the samples to dry well.
7. Insert the sample card back into the paper envelope. Then place the paper envelope into the metal bag and close it.
Važno: Ne uklanjajte vrećicu sa sredstvom za sušenje unutar metalne vrećice.
8. Stavite zatvorenu metalnu vrećicu u veliku omotnicu s laboratorijskom adresom na njoj. Napomena! Prije stavljanja u poštanski sandučić na omotnicu morate staviti točan iznos poštanskih markica.
Register your test ID code at www.zinzinotest.com. This is the website where you can see your test result later. Potrajat će 10 – 20 dana dok vaš rezultat ne bude spreman.

9. The next step is to answer the questionnaire by logging in with your annonymous test ID. To answer all the questions, you need to have access to a measuring tape, and previous Balance and/or Vitamin D test IDs if applicable.
10. Kako izmjeriti struk:
• Place a measuring tape around your middle, just above the belly button.
• Make sure it’s pulled tight, but isn’t digging into your skin.
• Breathe out naturally and take your measurement.
• Take your measurement again, just to be sure.
Tip!
If you do not have a measuring tape, use a piece of string in the same way, then measure the string with a yardstick.
